Bugajski Consulting was established to address a gap in the market: the need for a genuinely multidisciplinary advisory firm that combines intelligence tradecraft, security expertise, legal acumen, and commercial awareness under one roof. Too often, clients are forced to engage separate providers for intelligence, security, legal, market entry, mobility, and wealth advice, with no single entity responsible for integrating these perspectives into a coherent picture.
We operate differently. Every engagement is led by senior professionals who have served in national intelligence services, military special operations, law enforcement, and the regulated financial sector. The Founder
Bugajski Consulting was founded by Łukasz Bugajski, a security and intelligence expert, investigative journalist, and whistleblower whose career has been defined by operational excellence, analytical rigour, and an unwavering commitment to institutional accountability. His work spans threat analysis, counterintelligence, corruption investigations, and the protection of strategic interests in some of the world’s most demanding environments.
Łukasz Bugajski
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Born in Wrocław, Poland, Łukasz has spent his career at the intersection of intelligence, security, and public accountability. He is a certified auditor, professional trainer, and Middle East analyst, as well as a recognised commentator on geopolitics, cybersecurity, and the conduct of intelligence services. In 2011 he received the Interia.pl Prize for Investigative Journalism in recognition of his work uncovering critical security and intelligence matters, and he served as an observer with the ISAF mission in Afghanistan, gaining first-hand operational experience in a conflict zone.
Since 2015 he has worked alongside a team of specialists drawn from across Europe, safeguarding clients through comprehensive intelligence and security services. He founded Bugajski Consulting to deliver world-class protection to clients operating across Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa, with particular expertise in high-risk jurisdictions including Russia, the former Soviet states, and the wider Middle East.
His professional background encompasses intelligence and counterintelligence operations, corporate and executive close protection, legal security consulting, crisis management, and business and investment advisory. He works closely with former operators from elite military and police units, intelligence professionals, licensed investigators, legal advisors, and financial consultants, and has developed a proprietary system of protection and crisis-response procedures. As a professional trainer, he has delivered more than 2,000 hours of instruction to enterprises, public institutions, and educational establishments, spanning crisis management, business security, cybersecurity, psychological profiling, and lie detection.

Institutional Accountability
Exposing the Lubin Affair
Between 2022 and 2024, Łukasz played a central role in exposing one of the most significant corruption and illegal surveillance scandals in recent Polish history, the so-called Lubin Affair (Afera Lubińska), which revealed systematic abuses within Poland’s Internal Security Agency (ABW).
In July 2024 he formally submitted official notifications and evidence, including recordings and documentation, to the highest authorities in the country. His disclosures demonstrated that officers had exceeded their authority, deployed surveillance without judicial authorisation, and conducted repressive operations against those who raised the alarm. As a direct result, several senior agents resigned, the Deputy Chief of the ABW was removed from office, and two separate criminal investigations remain ongoing, an outcome widely recognised as an act of exceptional civic courage.
